       糖尿类问题者可以利用肉桂达到控制体内血糖的成效。肉桂在人体内发挥类似胰岛素的作用。在巴基斯坦进行的小型实验显示，30个糖尿类病者在服用肉桂的水溶性萃取物40天后，明显削减了总胆固醇、三酸甘油酯、坏胆固醇水屁LDL，低密度脂蛋白胆固醇）。肉桂可当作一种芳香精华，也可应对细菌及优化体内循环，因此也应用于感冒或消化不佳之问题。
